He enjoys working with nonprofit organizations, private and public, as a public service. He has worked with local newspapers to sponsor workshops open to members of the community.

These workshops can be of varying lengths and give participants a thorough knowledge of the preeminent parliamentary authority used in the United States. Workshops usually include a review of materials found in Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised 12th Edition, the current parliamentary authority.

Now in its twelfth edition, Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised is the most authoritative text on the subject of Parliamentary Procedure used in the United States.

While there are many books with “Robert’s Rules of Order” in their titles, the book used in this workshop is the preferred choice of both the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) and the American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP).
